Rock On!!!

today i got a break from my busy schedule n i made good use of it by first watchin forever mine and later rock on!

forever mine is a love story that starts with looking like a typical triangle sort of story, but later attempts to be a deeper 'true love' sort of tale. not sure how much they succeeded at it, but it was a nice attempt.

Rock On was nice! i quite liked it.:) and when i shared that with a friend, this is what my pal had to say, n i was so pleasantly amused that i just had to capture it on my blog.

coming back to how i felt about the movie, i think it rocked. the fact that the subject was chosen, the way it was treated, the thankful lack of melodrama, the realistic appeal, the freshness - it had it all - in the right measure. farhan has been spoken about a lot post the movie, as a star and singer - and rightfully so i agree. however, for me the surprise package was arjun rampal. he always looks good, coz he is good looking (duh..), but in this movie he has so looked n acted the part. good job - by him, his stylist, the scriptwriter, the make-up person, and the director.

overall, good entertaining film that left me smiling.:)
