under the tuscan sun

a sweet movie dat i could relate with.. going away to a foreign land to find life again.. i know its a silly thought and best left for movies such as this one. maybe i am a hopeless romantic dreamer.. anyway, i watched it n i smiled.. as i do when i watch these mushy movies.

adventure time

moved out of home this morning for office like any other day.. It was a hot morning, yet i smiled at the play of sun and shade..

and then half way down i struck a bad jam, so i manouvered out of that and thought i'd approach office from an alternate (though much longer route), and then i struck another equally bad jam. i was in this situation where i could not go further or even turn back! so i moved on the free service lane i could find and looked around (the good thing about gurgaon is that even for a person with bad sense of direction the buildings are visible from a distance). so i got my bearings and tried to drive on the only road available till i struck a dead end, and then i turned back and then followed some other vehicles that were taking a dirt road (unexplored for me). and so in mountain rally style i drove on over uneven surfaces in an almost village like backdrop, and emerged on the other side of the jam (on the side of my home) and i promptly headed back home.

finally back home after an hour and a half, almost two. quite an adventure first thing in the morning!:)
