life is beautiful ...

my experiences as I strive to be in the now, or simply, just be. my battles and struggles. my victories and celebrations. life is indeed beautiful - simply by virtue of being life. so in celebration of being alive, my random musings, as life unfolds.

message to self

realize ur Power.
recognize the Advantage you enjoy.
exercise it. and relax.
as soon as u do that, no one can perturb u.
coz u would know better. and that shall keep u calm.

humble abode

i truely love the gurgaon home. the locality is very nice and i really like the home and its surroundings.
actually the surroundings were much better till a few months back. then the construction started - the army plot right next door is undergoing heavy construction literally round-the-clock!
due to that the backyard has become extremely dusty. and because of that leaving windows open is not feasible. this was ok till it was winters but now it is warming up rapidly.
bye-bye to dilli ki sardi!:(
anyway, i was saying.. so the home is beautiful and the front is gorgeous.
the last 2-3 days i have started making it a point to wake up, open the front door, and breathe in the fresh morning air. and it feels really good.
i should have done it all this time. anyway, am glad i started now and i sure will continue.
i even started doing my physiotherapy exercises standing in the sweet little balcony in the front.
i hope this trend continues so i inch a bit towards healthy living.
:)

am back

today i drove once again after almost a month and a half.
i drove my gudiya after a long gap.
i had become quite good by december at driving and tackling traffic.
but today driving was not so good. coz of the long gap i guess.
of course, i'll improve for sure.
just the fact that despite both my thumbs troubling me at the same time, i got back on the road and got to my office on my own was an achievement.
for the mistakes, i have 2 big fat Ls on the car front and rear windshields.
and it does feel good that gudiya is with me and is waiting outside to carry me back at the end of the day.
i love my gudiya.
