what a beautiful day.. wish i had captured my feelings that day itself. better late than never though..
the day was supposed to be used to take care of getting supplies, buying groceries, looking for a maid, and many more chores. but then i heard from di who was sending out her car to ensure mapa could travel comfortably to ppg. so she needed me to ferry her and her younger one to a brainobrain class to check out their facilities. so i got ready in no time and drove out. and was it a beautiful day or what - a beautiful winter day with a warm n bright sun smiling down at the world.. and i played a beautiful number from the movie woh lamhe and was i happy.. i smiled all the way as i drove to di's place. the class was quite interesting, and we loved the cosy lil place and the friendly teachers and the lovable kids. di decided to put her younger one there. and once the formalities were taken care of i brought them back home. the rest of the day passed in some of the other chores.. next morning, that is 14th, i had to set out early, pick di and head to ppg to attend the chola ceremony for our new baby at the gurudwara at 8 in the morning. it was a very nice experience driving around india gate and the embassy area for the first time - something i had been wanting to do for a long time now.. as usual my weekend turned out to be busier than my week, and it was extremely tiring. but i am thankful for the good time spent.
may there be more such lovely weekends. *insha allah*
