a thousand splendid suns

just finished reading it last night. khaled hosseini did it again.. he writes beautifully, simply, straight from the heart. the story is heart wrenching. has unimaginable pain and yet oodles of hope and love. makes for good reading. plus is an insight into the war-ravaged afghanistan, along with the trials and tribulations of the land and its peoples.
