back from my pilgrimage..

i had been hoping and trying and planning to go to ajmer sharif, and then there was talk of another trip to shirdi before year end.. but these things work out magically. i ended up going to the mountains in the winters.. to be where i was deemed to be, pay my respect, say my prayers and be thankful for everything i am blessed with.
the trip was great - very satisfactory. and physically reassuring too!:)

it was v sudden.. i had been hoping to go to ajmer sharif, and then my younger sis' friend checked with me for shirdi, and then out of the blue this vaishno devi trip happened. my colleague with whom i was planning ajmer sharif asked me, n i said ya ok maybe, and before i knew it was all planned. tickets got confirmed literally a couple of hours before the train was to leave. i was skeptical about being able to do the climb after all these years, but it was better than fine. it was quite magical the way it happened. which is why they say one gets to go to these places as n when there is a 'bulava'..:)
